iTrustPage description:
iTrustPage is an anti-phishing tool that will prevent users from filling out suspicious Web forms, and suggests the corresponding legitimate form.
When encountering an unvalidated form, iTrustPage
asks the user to describe the page they intend to access, by entering keywords into a search engine. If the form is found in the top search results, the form is validated and the user can proceed.
Otherwise, the user is presented with visual previews of the top search results matching the entered description. Users can either choose one of these more "established" Web pages or
refine the search terms.
Any anti-phishing tool (including iTrustPage) has false negatives (i.e., a user can still visit a phishing site). iTrustPage tries very hard to minimize such occurrences, but there are no guarantees. After all, iTrustPage only offers pretty good phishing protection.
